“Introduction of Ordinance # 2024-01”

The Town Commissioners of Pittsville at the town meeting held on March 18, 2024 introduced Ordinance # 2024-01: “An Ordinance to Amend the Town of Pittsville’s Zoning Code to Provide for the Regulation of Cannabis Business Operations in the Town”

A public hearing is scheduled for April 15, 2024 commencing at 7:00 pm in Town Hall to receive public input regarding the ordinance. Ordinance # 2024-01 will be on the agenda for consideration of adoption at the next town meeting to be held on April 15, 2024 immediately following the public hearing.

Copies of the Ordinance are available for public review at the Town Hall during normal business hours.

The Town of Pittsville is now accepting vendor applications for the 2024 Pittsville Strawberry Festival. Interested parties can download the application form by visiting the Documents page or by clicking here.

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 10am-4pm. Vendor registration fees, setup and takedown times, event guidelines, and submission instructions are all included on the application form.

Community Easter Egg Hunt – This Saturday, March 23, starting at 11:00am!

Bring the kiddos out to Pittsville Park for lots of Easter fun, snacks, games, and prizes! (Ages 1 to 10, please!) This event is rain or shine! If it rains, the fun moves indoors. We look forward to seeing you there!

There will be a special closed executive session of the Town Commissioners of Pittsville to discuss personnel issues on March 12, 2024, commencing at 7:30 pm in the Town Hall. Due to the meeting being personnel related it is closed to the public.

The Town of Pittsville has begun work preparing for the “Town Strawberry Festival” to be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pittsville Town Park located between Pearl Street and Railroad Avenue. Anyone interested in assisting with the preparations and willing to help out that day may call the Town Hall at 410-835-8872 or contact Robyn Carozza at 443-614-9953. Interested vendors should also call the Town Hall or Robyn Carozza.

The Town will keep ALL up to date on progress of the work on the Strawberry Festival.

Town Hall is closed today Monday, February 19, 2024 in observance of Presidents Day. Town Hall will re-open on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 8:00am.

Since the holiday falls on a regular monthly meeting night, the Town Commissioners monthly meeting for February will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 7:00pm.
