Any derogatory remarks, personal attacks, obscene language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will upon order from the Presiding Officer be grounds for removal of the individual from the meeting.

At the regular monthly town meeting of the Commissioners of Pittsville held on 17 Feb 26, Resolution #2026-03 was adopted which expands the Town of Pittsville’s “Speed Camera Monitoring Area” to include the portion of GUMBORO RD from OLD OCEAN CITY RD to PEARL ST (across from Town Hall) effective immediately.

Warnings will be issued until April 15, 2026.

Partial Road Closure – March 10, 2026

Please be advised that Pine Meadows Lane is closed from West Street to 34311 Pine Meadows Lane until further notice for road repairs. The repairs are anticipated to be completed today. Additional updates will be provided when available.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Please be advised of the following road signage change on Main St:

The portion of Main St. from Gumboro Rd WEST to Old Ocean City Rd has been changed to “W Main St”.

The portion of Main St. from Gumboro Rd EAST to Old Ocean City Rd has been changed to “E Main St”.

This change does not affect physical or mailing addresses. This has been done to help avoid confusion and improve the abilities of Emergency Services to respond in a timely manner.
