Spring Reminders: A message from the Town Manager
With the beginning of spring, and realizing it is the time for grass to grow and folks wanting to begin projects around the house and property, as the Town’s CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, I wanted to remind all our resident citizens and property owners that the Town’s Department of Public Works will again be assisting me with code enforcement duties.
Before you do any type of work or capital project undertaking (like construction, addition, shed, pool, or fence installation) it is advisable that you contact Town Hall to ascertain if YOU need a building permit to do the work. Also, grass and weeds CAN NOT be any higher than twelve (12) inches. Any violations of this type will result in a letter from the Department of Code Enforcement which may include a citation for violation of municipal code and possible municipal fine.
The Town Commissioners and Town Manager encourage all to comply with our municipal regulations and “when in doubt” please call 410-835-8872.
Thank you for your cooperation!
