Refreshments will be provided\n\n  \n\nThe Wicomico Eastside Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Town’s Christmas Parade on December 9\, starting at 5:30 pm. And including a house decorating contest to be judged by members of the Chamber.\n\n  \n\nChristmas Open House to be held at Pittsville Pizza and sponsored by the Town of Pittsville and the Forge Ministry on December 15th from 2-5pm to include pizza\, soda & cake.\n\n  \nCome Out to Celebrate with family\, friends\, and fellowship! \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:NOTICE TO RESIDENTS \nTOWN OF PITTSVILLE\nFIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING \nPlease be advised that the Town of Pittsville will be flushing all Fire Hydrants from August 27th thru August 31st. \nWe flush water lines through the use of hydrants\, which is an important preventive maintenance activity.  Although it may appear to waste water\, the process is part of a routine maintenance program necessary to maintain the integrity of the water system allowing us to continue to deliver the highest quality water possible to our customers. \nAs a result of the line flushing process\, residents in the immediate vicinity of the work may experience temporary discoloration of their water.  This discoloration consists primarily of harmless silt and air and does not affect the safety of the water.  If you experience discoloration in your water after crews have been flushing in your neighborhood\, clear the pipes in your home by running your water faucets in your home a few minutes.  We recommend using the tub or outside faucet. \nIf you require additional information\, please contact the Town Office/Water Department. \nThank you.
