Help Keep Pittsville’s Sewer System Flowing!
Did you know that flushing disposable wipes can clog sewer pumps, leading to costly repairs, time-consuming maintenance, and system downtime? Even wipes labeled “flushable” don’t belong in the toilet!
The rule is simple: Only flush human waste and toilet paper.
Please keep these items out of your toilet:
– Disposable wipes
– Tampons and sanitary pads
– Paper towels and facial tissues
– Cotton swabs, dental floss, and hair
– Medications, condoms, and other objects
When in doubt, throw it out! Dispose of wipes and other waste in the trash.
